As written in Ephesians 6: 10-12 The Message (MSG) :

10-12And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and he wants you strong. So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way. This is no afternoon athletic contest that we’ll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels.

Before we take the whole armor of God, God asks us stronger first, STRONG in the Lord and in His mighty power (Ephesians 6:10).

We face what kind of war ???

It’s spiritual warfare. This is not physical war between people against people. We fight devil, satan, against evil and against injustice. Our war against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

As written in Ephesians 6: 13-18 The Message (MSG) :

13-18Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.

Well preparation with complete of The Armor of God allows us to fight, survive and stay standing upright until the war is over.

Here are the armor of God that we must have in spiritual warfare so that we have the victory (Ephesians 6: 14-18), with STAND FIRM we take :

  1. The belt of  TRUTH buckled around your waist. Our mind is the first place should be protected with The Word of God. Read 1 Peter 1:13. Fill our mind with The Word of God; the door for The Holy Spirit through on the mind.
  2. The breastplate of righteousness (Dressed JUSTICE). Dress cover the vital organs and to talk about the heart. Dressed justice protect the heart/breast from enemy attacks. Read Romans 12:2. Let the Word of God is truth, affects our minds and touched our hearts. When The Truth of God’s Word touch our minds and heart there will be transformation and revival.
  3. Feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. Shod willingness and preach the gospel. Shoes to protect our way. The Word of God touch and change our life every day and that we are carriers of The Good News. So God’s Word should influence the course of our lives.
  4. Shield of Faith. God’s Word that we say in our mouth is faith. The Word of God will be poured out upon our spirits and touch our speech, enabling us to stand against the enemy. Faith brings the results of great power.
  5. Helmet of SALVATION. Helmets are associated with teaching. Helmets are the teachings of the Word of God that brings a solid foundation and balanced so we don’t easily shaken by the misleading teachings. Read Mathews 24:4; Ephesians 4:15 and 2 Timothy 3:11-17. God’s Word impact with what we believe so that our lives not easily tossed. This basis protects us from misleading teachings
  6. The sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. The sword as an instrument to survive.  Word of God that lives in our lives is a weapon that we use to fight and kill the enemy. Read 2 Timothy 2:15. We must do the best to be a powerful sword holder. At the end, we could be follow the example as Jesus did when faced with the devil : “JESUS ANSWERED : IT’S WRITTEN — IT’S ALSO WRITTEN — FOR IT’S WRITTEN” (Matthew 4:4-7)
  7. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit. Pray hard and long. Pray for our brothers and sisters. Keep our eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out. PRAY IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THE ARMOR OF GOD. Prayer keeps us. God wants us to be a PRAYER (Ephesians 6:18)

Remember these things :

  • Don’t go into battle without The Armor of God.
  • Don’t use the power of your own to against the enemies.
  • We do GREAT and SPECTACULAR things with God, because He has overcome all our enemies (Psalm 60:12 and Psalm 108:13)
Blessings and Peace !
With love,
