I❤ : Nick Vujicic – Un Testimonio de Esperanza

H O P E

Nick Vujicic, a person in life that proves that no matter the situation we are, we have no limitations, the limitations we put ourselves in our mind, such as fear, which is the biggest obstacle to achieving things, and really if God does not put limitations, why we’re going to do? Not to accomplish what God wants, and I think it’s time to think about what is stopping me, what is preventing me to do, maybe as I said before is fear, is your mind, as I said a Mr. Denmark a few weeks ago, poverty is not a lifestyle, a way of thinking and when you change that mindset will change everything, because God wants us to be poor, the Bible says “Jesus is became poor that we might become rich “

And I want you to stop thinking that and back again, perhaps you feel lonely or alone, and do not know what to do, can not find the reason you’re here, maybe you think God will leave, I leave you, but I want to say it is not so.
Despite what you’ve done, how much you sin, He still loves you, loves you and knows your life is very important.

I will give you an example :

When you go away freckles each time more and more of God, and there comes a time you feel bad, do not know what to do, and you feel embarrassed, and say No, I’m going to go there, and then do the same and back to here, no, I’d rather stay here. But I’ll tell you something, you have to go back up there to meet God, only that you turn around and you’ll be there face to face with you.

It is the truth, and that allows us to do that is Jesus Christ and I’m going to ask you to do this prayer Comigo :

Lord Jesus, I accept you as my only sufficient and Great Savior of my life and my soul. Lord Jesus, forgive all my sins, all that I have offended, thought, word and deeds, wash me and cleanse me with your precious blood, write my name in the book of life. Seal me with your Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord, Amen.

But as many as received Him, to them that believe on his name, he gave power to become children of God. (John 1:12)

Nick Vujicic Testimony
Excerpt from his book “Life Without Limits”

My name is Nick Vujicic, was born in Australia and give glory to God because He has used my testimony to touch thousands of hearts around the world. I was born without limbs and doctors have no explanation for this “defect” of birth. As you can imagine, I was faced with many challenges and obstacles.

How have our pain and sadness just as a source of joy? My parents were Christians, and my dad was a pastor of their church, they knew that verse very well. However, the morning of December 4, 1982 in Melbourne (Australia), the last words in the minds of my parents was “Thank God.” Their firstborn son had been born without limbs! There were no warnings or time to prepare for this. The doctors were shocked and had no answers at all. There is no medical reason why this happened, now I have a brother and sister who were born just like any baby.

The whole congregation knew of my birth and my parents were absolutely devastated. Everyone asked, “If God is a God of love, then why allow it to happen just a few Christians so devoted to Him?” My dad thought that I would not survive long, but tests proved that I was a baby very healthy, except for the lack of limbs.

Obviously, my parents were shocked and were very afraid of the kind of life I would face. God gave them the strength, wisdom and courage through those years and at least I thought I already had old enough to go to school.

The law in Australia does not allow me to be integrated into a school because of my physical disability. God miraculously gave my mother the strength to fight for the law to be changed. I was one of the first disabled students who were integrated into mainstream schools.

I liked going to school and just try to live like everyone else, but in my early years of school where I encountered uncomfortable times of rejection and ridicule because of my physical difference. It was very difficult for me to handle this, but with the help of my parents started to develop attitudes and values which helped me overcome these challenging times of change. I knew I was different on the outside but inside I was just like everyone else. There were many times I felt listless and would not go to school rather than face the negative attention. My parents gave me the strength to ignore those who mistreated me and try to make friends by just talking with my peers. Soon the students realized that I was like them and God blessed me with new friends.

There were times I felt depressed and angry because I could not do anything to change my physique. I went to Sunday school and learned that God loves us and cares for each one of us. I understood that love, but could not understand why God had done so if he loved me? Is it because I had done something wrong?. I thought so, because all children in school I was the only way. At an early age I thought about ending my sorrows and my life, I thank God for my parents and my family, who were always there to comfort me and give me strength.

Due to my emotional problems, self esteem and loneliness, God had given me the passion to share my story and experiences to help others cope with the changes in their lives and let God into a blessing, strengthen and inspire others tolive to their fullest potential and not let anyone prevent them from continuing on the path to achieve their hopes and dreams.

“Now we know that God works all things for good for those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose” Romans 8:28 – NIV

This verse spoke to my heart and gave me the conviction that there is no such thing as luck, chance or coincidence that these “bad” things happen in our lives.

I had complete peace knowing that God does not let anything happen in our lives if there were no good purpose for it. I completely gave my life to Christ at age 15 after reading John 9. Jesus said that the reason that the man was born blind was “so that God does wonders that were revealed through him.” I thought sincerely that God had created me because I could be a great testimony of His Awesome Power. After I got the wisdom to understand that if we pray for something, if that’s what God wants will happen in His time. And if God does not want to happen, then we know that He has something better for us.

I now see that Glory revealed and he is using me as I am and how others can not be used by Him.

I have 24 years and completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Financial Planning and Accounting. I am a motivation speaker and love to travel and share my story and testimony wherever opportunities become available. I have lectured to encourage and empower students through topics that affect young people today. I am also a lecturer in the corporate sector.

In recent years, I learned to become independent and now I can take care of all my personal needs. (Brush teeth, comb my hair, decorating, take care of my personal hygiene and my change my clothes. I do well in an electric wheelchair. I like swimming, fishing and playing soccer. I am passionate about reaching young people and keep myself available God for what He wants done, He leads and I just follow it.

I have many dreams and goals to achieve in my life. I want to be the best messenger of Love and Hope in God, to become an international inspirational speaker and be invited by both Christian and non-Christian. I want to be financially independent at 25, through investments, to modify a car to drive, and be interviewed on “Oprah Winfrey Show” to tell my story!

Many books that become best-sellers is one of my dreams and I hope to finish first by the end of the year, it will be called “No Arms, No Legs, No Worries” (No arms, no legs, no worries).

I think if you have the desire and passion to do something, and God willing, achieve it at the right time. As humans, we continually put limits on ourselves for no reason!

What’s worse is putting limits on God who can do all things. We put God in a “box”. The awesome thing about the Power of God is that if we do something for God, instead of focusing on our capability, concentrate on our skills, we know that it is God through us will do things and can not do anything without Him Once we declare ourselves available for God’s work, you know how many things we can?

“I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13 – NIV.

God has a great purpose for your life! Even his unanswered prayers, remember that God is Faithful. What are we doing when we pray, pray and no answer?

“Then you will call upon me and come and pray to, and I will listen.” Jeremiah 29:12 – NIV

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all his heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord.

Take courage my friend for the Battle is the Lord and I urge you to keep fighting for the truth. For it is the truth that will put you in freedom and peace of God which passes all understanding will reign in your heart. May the Lord Bless for you to search diligently and grant him divine strength and wisdom through their journey in Christ.

With Love, Mike Klobes
