Whilst making use of the Swiss Travel System, you may even see a boat waiting directly in front of the railway station. If so, climb abroad ! It’s all included in your ticket, as example : Swiss Pass, one ticket for all. Commercial passenger boats operate on every large lake, especially in the summer. Some of these are veritable gems : the historic steamboats for example on Lake Lucerne, Thun and Geneva, also in Zurichsee.

ZURICHSEE SCHIFFFAHRT

Dreamlike scenery and breaking waves on the lake : for a mini-vacation take a mid day break on the Lunch Boat or start the weekend on the Breakfast Boat. It’s ride not only Zurichsee area but also drives the passenger to Rapperwil-Jona and let all passengers enjoy the view in Rapperswill-Jona for one hour and then pick up back all passenger and continue the trip to Zurichsee.

I met a pair woman and husband on a boat and we talked much about how Switzerland and also Bali. Both of them have ever been in Bali for one month. They come from Netherlands and they said Bali is very beautiful.

RAPPERSWIL

Anyone who loves roses should not miss a visit to this town on the upper reaches of Lake Zurich. Children particularly love the “Knie” Children’s Zoo. Various attractions : The Old Town, Castle and The Polish Museum. Also we can taste a wine too.

I suggest to give you one day full for this trip because it’s enjoyable.
